Safra Anver is a communications & events professional with over 14 years of experience working across varied industries. She is the Founder/CEO of event management organisation Anver Associates where she runs local and global events. Previously, she was the Conference Events Manager at the World Association of Girl Guiding & Girl Scouts, UK – the largest voluntary Movement representing 10 million girls & young women from 152 countries. Safra also worked on Social Enterprise World Forum 2022 in Brisbane Australia and was the Co-Founder of Watchdog, Sri Lanka’s first news verification app. She is a TEDx Organizer in Sri Lanka & the convener of TEDxColombo – Sri Lanka’s leading TEDx conference. She has been a speaker or moderator at numerous conferences worldwide including Women Deliver, World Youth Conference, Mozilla Festival, & United Nations Internet Governance Forum.
