The Climate Connection is British Councils global platform for addressing the climate challenge.
Since 2016, it has inspired millions of people around the world to explore, create and
collaborate on new solutions to tackle climate change through the arts and culture, education and English.
Livestream sessions on social media platforms
Built a year long schedule of livestream sessions across all departments on various aspects of the environment including how to incorporate environment subjects into lesson plans, waste management and upcycling, marine conservation and arts and culture.
Worked with British Council Active Citizens to work on promotional videos on what their asks are from COP26 as pre-promotion to British Councils Youth in Climate Action Virtual Conference.
Designed content plan for the year of all global resources alongside local events, happenings and competitions making British Council Sri Lanka among the top 10 on digital metrics out of 160 British Council offices around the world.
Launched the Regional research paper “South Asia research on young people’s perceptions on climate change” as well as the Global research paper “Global Youth Letter on Climate Action” prior to COP26 as a part of the big ask for the conference.
